Going and Serving

Our Mitten Tree.  Every Advent we collect mittens, scarves, hats, etc. for local families.  This is just a portion of those we collect!

Serving in Mission

The list of local and national non-profit organizations that we support with our time, gifts, and money goes on and on, including ANEW Place, Green Mountain Nursing Home, Our Community Cares Camp, and Aspire Together, to name a very few.  When you give to Jericho UMC, financially or with spiritual gifts, including support of our annual Tag Sale, you know that you are also supporting those in need.

Serving our Youth

We participate in a joint youth group for many ages with the United Church of Underhill.  Please contact Jen Luitjens at luitjens@yahoo.com or 899-4288 for more information.  We also have regular Kids Night Outs for K-6th graders full of fun and food that have the added benefit of giving you parents a free night for, say, a date?  Parent possibilities are endless, kid fun is endless.

And we invite our youth to participate in worship, and they do!  Acolytes, ushers, readers, they do it all.  God is a God of all ages.  Starting in 2019, we are also paying for older youth to attend the Soulfest concert in August.
